Retouching


Before


This is the Great Wall of China and it will be vanished from existence. At first I wanted to do the U.S. border, but there wasn't any good photo of it. I used the selection tool and filled it with the background.

After


This is the picture after the wall is filled with background. First I selected the wall and added some background to the selection. After that I went to the edit panel and selected fill and content aware. I think it turned out well and makes it seem that it's a normal rain forest.

Before 


This is a tree with lightning in the background. I took out the tree so it's only the lightning in the background. I used the spot healing brush for this. I was trying to find someone in the thunderstorm and I did, but the quality was really bad. 

After


This is just lightning without the tree. I think it turned out great and makes it seem that the tree was never there. I used the spot healing brush tool for this picture and highlighted it. 

Before


This is Tatooine from the star wars movie. cloned the two suns, Luke, and the communicator. I couldn't think of anything else so I just went for this.   

After


This is the photo after I cloned the two suns of Tatooine, Luke and the communicator dish. It doesn't look half bad and nothing really looks out of place. The sun was really easy to clone, the clone stamp tool is like a brush and I made it the same size as the suns. After cloning them a few times I started cloning Luke. I selected Luke's head and clone next to him starting from the head until you can see the legs. Lastly with the communicator, I made the tool around the width of the object and selected the bottom. After cloning it I was done, this was pretty fun. c:

  Robot Final 1.0 2.0 \ Draft The idea of creating a robot out of images from the internet is really smart and fun. For my robot, I had the idea of making it British and having British stereotypes, like biscuits, tea, and formal wear. For the biscuits, I used some that my mom and I love getting and I think that they are from Scotland and not Britain. The body and legs are mainly fancy clothes with a knife and hammer as hands, a hand watch, and a tea bag as extra stuff. My robot is carrying a cup of tea because he is British and who doesn't like tea? My robot's head has a fancy plate covered with circle biscuits as eyes, a triangular biscuit as a nose, a monocle, two tea cups as ears, and a fancy robotic hat. To make my robot look right, I had to erase some parts of the pants and sleeves. Photoshop Blend Modes

  Photoshop Blend Modes Working in photoshop again was cool and refreshing from working with InDesign and illustrator. I used 15 blend modes and used the brush for the rest. I changed the size, color, smoothness, and flow of the brush to see how it affects the mini pictures. Smoothness made it hard to draw but also made it smooth in return. For the brushes, I colored in some parts of the pictures, like my face or hair. For others, I just highlighted my face or glasses. Some of the blend modes are cool, but others make it hard to see. "Subtract" makes me look cool and reminds me of a character called Mr. Negative. "Luminosity" and "Vivid Light" look clean and are pretty clear to see. "Hue" and "Color is cool but is hard to see me. In the pictures, the only thing you can see are my eyes, hair, and glasses. "Color Burn" looks awesome and is likely supposed to make it look like the picture has been burned. " Lighter Color" an...

Branded Print Ad: final

  Branded Print Ad: final For my ad, I made up a game from Medieval times, which is my product. I put my logo on the bottom right of the page because it's where the game poster would put the game developer logo at. For example for Pokémon, Nintendo is part of making the game but game freak is the game-developing company. My tagline is games that change lives, which it's supposed to mean that the games are really good. I put ratings from real game rating companies and from gamers. Ratings of the games are normally in-game ads/ posters so they people know if the product is good or not. I also put a DLC section in the ad because it's something that would normally be in a game ad. In the description section, I wrote a little about the story of the game and the mission. For pictures, I added two characters and crossing axes to symbolize that it was medieval times. I also put a phone number to call if there is anything about the game that people would like to ask.
